A Message From Our Founder
"We are living during a time wherein the 21st century has revealed alarming high school "drop out" and incarceration rates for high school males. Specifically, in the state of Georgia the statistics are appalling. In Georgia 42.9% of males between the ages of 14 years to 19 years of age drop out of high school.
While this problem crosses all socio-economic levels, families are continuing to find themselves under attack. Our community needs an additional option whose focus will be the mental, emotional, societal and academic growth of adjudicated and non-adjudicated "at risk" high school males. It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you The Ervin Academy. There is no private school, alternative program, military, boarding school or wilderness camp like us in the southeast; we are unique! We are the first non-profit boarding school in the southeast who will address the needs of adjudicated and non-adjudicated "at-risk" high school males! Welcome to The Ervin Academy!
